The WindRider Sky Whale Max Electric is a fully electric heavy-lift VTOL drone engineered for LiDAR mapping, long-distance cargo delivery, transportation, and security surveillance. Equipped with four lift motors and two fixed-wing motors, it takes off vertically like a quadcopter and transitions to horizontal flight as a push-prop fixed-wing aircraft at altitude.

The Sky Whale Max electric VTOL drone offers a flight endurance of 4 hours when carrying a 2kg payload and 2 hours with a 15kg payload.

Separate camera bin
The Sky Whale Max electric UAV features a dedicated compartment for mounting a gimbal camera, enabling target search with the onboard camera even while carrying heavy payloads.

Fly by camera (optional)
This surveillance VTOL drone uses its onboard zoom camera to track and monitor stationary or moving targets along a preset patrol route. The target’s coordinates can be copied and transmitted to the command center. After completing the mission, the drone automatically returns to its original patrol path.

Monitor target movement status on GCS (optional)
Using the LAUNCH GCS, the pilot can monitor the target’s movement, including real-time GPS coordinates, the distance between the target and the drone, and the distance from the target to the HOME position.

Follow Me feature (optional)
Sometimes, the flight platform—such as a boat or vehicle—must relocate after the drone takes off to complete its mission. In these situations, the drone can follow the moving platform and safely land once the mission is finished. This capability is particularly valuable for VTOL drones conducting surveillance or monitoring operations at sea.
